100% Responsibility & How to Get Everything You Wan

You’ve heard it before: “Take responsibility for your outcomes.”
Your health. Your wealth. Your relationships. Your life conditions.
I’ve heard this a million times:
“Bobbi, you’ve got to take responsibility for every area of your life to get the outcomes you want.”
I used to think I had to TAKE responsibility. But here’s the thing: I was ALREADY responsible.
The life I’d created—the bits I loved, the bits I hated, all my successes and failures - were built through my behaviours, shaped by my beliefs, and driven by my stories. It wasn’t about “taking” responsibility - it was about realising that I was already 100% responsible for my results. Like it or not.
If your life is wonderful, congratulations, you created it.
If your life is a mess, you created that too.
Here’s the good news: If you created it, you can change it.
Blaming circumstances, people, or external factors only keeps you stuck. But when you stop pointing fingers and face the truth, you realise something life-changing: You are never a victim. You are the storyteller of your life, and you get to choose the story you tell.
For years, I told myself stories about why I wasn’t good enough, why I couldn’t succeed, why I wasn’t lovable. The harshest critic wasn’t anyone else - it was me.
Here’s the truth:
• Insecurity is a story.
• Anxiety is a story.
• Limiting beliefs ? All stories.
These stories are built on the meanings we assign to life’s events. But the moment you realise these stories aren’t truth - just perceptions - you reclaim your power.
Four truths that changed my life:
1. Your results are yours. What you tolerate but don’t change is something you’re choosing.
2. Blaming gives you zero power. It feels good but changes nothing.
3. Your beliefs drive your behaviour. Change your beliefs, and your results will follow.
4. You can rewrite your story. You’re not the actor; you’re the storyteller.
Responsibility is hard. Playing the victim is easy - it’s safe, familiar, even rewarding. But it keeps you stuck. The moment you let go of blaming others, you gain something much more valuable: freedom.
No one is coming to save you. That’s the best news of all - because your power is already in your hands.
The woman I am today - strong, free, and unapologetically authentic - is proof of what happens when you take 100% responsibility for your life. It’s not always easy, & I am so still a work in progress, but it’s worth it.
So, here’s my question: What can you do to claim the power that’s already yours ?
Your future is waiting—and you get to decide just how incredible it’s going to be.
